First seen Mar 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study follows 2,000 people with chronic heart failure to see if their daily step counts and activity levels are linked to future heart problems or death. Participants wear a pedometer or smartwatch and answer activity questionnaires every six months. The goal is to learn how movement patterns relate to hospital stays and survival, not to test a new treatment.
