New pill aims to calm dangerous heartbeats in genetic disorder
NCT ID NCT06174220
Summary
This study is testing whether an oral drug called tideglusib can help control a genetic heart condition that causes dangerous irregular heartbeats. It will involve 120 people who have a specific gene change linked to the disease and experience frequent extra heartbeats. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the active drug or a placebo pill to see if tideglusib reduces irregular heart rhythms and improves heart health.
