New hope for dialysis patients with failing hearts?

NCT ID NCT07417215

Summary

This study is testing if a medication called sacubitril/valsartan can improve heart function in people who are on long-term dialysis and have a common type of heart failure (HFpEF). The drug is already used for other heart conditions but is not approved for patients on dialysis. Researchers will compare 60 patients, with half receiving the new drug and half receiving standard care, to see if it helps their hearts work better.
