Tracking 960 heart patients: can a new balloon treatment prevent future heart attacks?
NCT ID NCT07256249
Summary
This study is collecting real-world information on how well a special balloon works for treating blocked heart arteries. The balloon is coated with a drug (sirolimus) meant to keep arteries open after treatment. Researchers will follow 960 patients for one year to see if the treatment helps prevent serious heart problems like heart attacks or the need for more procedures.
