Heart treatment ripple effect: fixing one clog may change another
NCT ID NCT07314879
Summary
This study looked at how fixing one clogged heart artery with a stent might change the pressure readings in a second, separate clog. Researchers measured pressure in the second clog before and after treating the first one in 160 patients. The goal is to better understand how blockages interact, which could help doctors decide the best order to treat them.
