New team strategy aims to tame dangerous cholesterol in heart patients
NCT ID NCT07334834
Summary
This study is testing whether a coordinated team approach helps people with heart disease lower their 'bad' cholesterol better than standard care. About 100 participants with heart disease and high cholesterol will be randomly assigned to either receive support from a doctor-pharmacist team using a specific treatment plan or continue with their usual doctor's care. The main goal is to see which approach leads to greater cholesterol reduction over time.
