Family heart history: does it show up on a scan?
NCT ID NCT07172308
Summary
This study aimed to see if people with a family history of heart disease have more high-risk plaque buildup in their heart arteries, even without symptoms. Researchers compared CT scan results from 480 people with and without a family history of heart disease. The goal was to gather evidence on whether scans could help guide early prevention for at-risk individuals.
