Scientists track hidden heart changes after pacemaker implants

NCT ID NCT07272395

Summary

This study aims to learn how the right side of the heart changes in people who receive an implantable heart device like a pacemaker. Researchers will check 40 participants before their device is placed and again six months later using heart scans and a simple blood test. The goal is to understand if and how these common devices affect heart function over time, which may help identify patients at risk for future problems.
