Heart plug tested to stop strokes in High-Risk patients

NCT ID NCT07396493

Summary

This study is testing a small implant called the AnchorMan® device, which is placed in the heart to seal off an area where blood clots often form in people with atrial fibrillation. The main goal is to see how quickly and completely the body's own tissue grows over the device, which is a key part of making it safe and effective. Researchers will follow 306 patients for 6 months after the implant procedure, using heart scans to check the healing process.
