Summary
This study aims to find early warning signs in the blood that could predict future heart damage in children and teens who have survived cancer after receiving a common chemotherapy drug called anthracycline. Researchers will compare blood samples from 40 young cancer survivors to samples from healthy children, looking for specific markers. The goal is to learn if these markers can help doctors predict heart problems before they become serious, allowing for earlier intervention.
