Summary

This study aims to find out if a simple ECG test can identify which patients with atrial fibrillation are at risk of forming blood clots that lead to stroke. Researchers will analyze heart tissue and blood samples from 1,000 adults undergoing open-heart surgery, along with their ECG recordings. The goal is to better understand how to prevent strokes in the future.
