Lab-grown heart cells tested in humans for first time

Summary

This early-stage trial tests whether heart cells grown from a patient's own stem cells are safe to inject into people with severe congenital heart disease. About 50 participants will receive the cells or be in a comparison group. The main goal is to check for serious side effects within 3 months and see if the process is practical.
