Heart scans may reveal hidden Alzheimer's clues
NCT ID NCT07154394
Summary
This research study aims to understand if amyloid protein deposits in the heart are related to Alzheimer's disease in the brain. Researchers will use special heart scans on 15 people already getting brain scans for Alzheimer's evaluation. The goal is to learn if these heart deposits occur more often in Alzheimer's patients, which could improve diagnosis for both conditions.
