Heart procedure vs. pills: finding the best fix for blocked arteries in the elderly

NCT ID NCT07442526

Summary

This study compares two ways to manage a completely blocked heart artery in people aged 80 and older. It tests whether a minimally invasive procedure to open the blockage (PCI) works better than just taking the best available medications. The goal is to see which approach improves symptoms, quality of life, and long-term heart health for this age group.
