Could one pill be enough after a heart attack?
NCT ID NCT05149560
Summary
This study tested if using just one blood-thinning drug (ticagrelor) is safe for patients after they get a stent for a heart attack. Usually, patients take two drugs. The goal was to see if using only one could lower the risk of bleeding while still preventing future heart problems. It involved 200 patients and closely monitored their health for 3 months.
