Trial tests cutting blood thinner time to protect heart patients

Summary
This study is for people who have had a heart attack and received a stent, but are at high risk for both future clots and serious bleeding. It will test if using a special stent and only one month of strong blood thinners is as safe and effective as using standard stents with a full year of blood thinners. The goal is to find a better balance between preventing heart problems and avoiding dangerous bleeds.
