Summary
This study followed over 1,000 people who had a heart attack and a stent placed. It compared standard medical care to a program that added a 4-month supervised exercise plan. The goal was to see if the exercise program improved long-term heart health and reduced future heart problems, strokes, or the need for more procedures over many years.
