Can a simple test get more heart attack survivors to Life-Saving rehab?

NCT ID NCT05401240

Summary

This study aims to see if offering a special heart and lung fitness test (CPET) motivates more people who have had a heart attack to attend outpatient cardiac rehabilitation. Cardiac rehab is strongly recommended but many people don't go. Researchers will compare 200 heart attack survivors, with one group being told they will get the CPET test at the rehab clinic to see if it increases attendance.
