Summary
This study aimed to test whether a gene therapy called VM202RY could help the heart heal after a serious heart attack. The treatment involved injecting the therapy directly into the heart muscle of eligible patients to try to improve blood flow and heart function. The trial was designed in two stages to first check safety and then measure effectiveness, but it was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
