Blood test could simplify heart attack diagnosis
NCT ID NCT07163988
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if a specific blood test (high-sensitivity troponin I) can accurately determine how severe a heart attack is. Researchers analyzed data from 312 patients who had a heart attack across several hospitals. The goal is to see if this blood test can be a simpler alternative to complex imaging scans for classifying heart attack stages.
