Heart attack mystery: which 'Bystander' blockages need fixing?

NCT ID NCT06506448

Summary

This study aims to understand which additional narrowed heart arteries are most likely to cause future problems in people who have just had a major heart attack. Researchers will use advanced heart scans and blood tests to examine 320 patients over several years. The goal is to create a tool to help doctors decide which blockages need a stent and which can be safely managed with medication alone.
