Blood cell ratio may predict heart attack recovery

NCT ID NCT07076732

Summary

This study looked at whether simple blood test measurements could help predict how patients recover after a certain type of heart attack. Researchers followed 80 adults who had heart attacks despite having clear, non-blocked arteries. They checked if the ratio between white blood cells and platelet size in the blood correlated with patients' health outcomes after leaving the hospital.
