Simple blood tests could predict heart attack recovery risks
NCT ID NCT07155395
Summary
This study aims to see if simple, low-cost blood tests can help predict how severe a heart attack is and who is at higher risk for complications, especially in patients with diabetes. Researchers will compare blood markers in 1,000 patients who have had a severe heart attack and received emergency artery-opening treatment. The goal is to find better ways to identify patients who need closer monitoring after their procedure.
