Blood test could track heart amyloid treatment effectiveness
NCT ID NCT07196839
Summary
This study aims to understand if standard medications for a heart condition called ATTR amyloidosis reduce harmful protein levels in the blood over time. Researchers will follow 50 patients already taking or starting these medications. They will check blood samples regularly to see if the treatment lowers the proteins linked to the disease, which could help doctors monitor patients better in the future.
