Summary

This research study aims to better understand how adults and children with cochlear implants or auditory brainstem implants process speech and sounds. Researchers will measure how accurately participants can identify words, sentences, and sound characteristics like pitch and volume. The study involves 200 participants and uses listening tests to gather information that could help improve future hearing technologies.
