Researchers test hearing check program for cancer survivors
NCT ID NCT05789316
Summary
This study tested a hearing screening program for head and neck cancer survivors who had received cisplatin chemotherapy, which can damage hearing. Researchers wanted to see if survivors would complete the hearing tests and if they found the screening program useful and easy to do. The goal was to gather information to improve long-term care for survivors by catching hearing problems early.
