Summary

This study looks at whether severe hearing loss in middle-aged adults (45-64 years) is linked to mild memory and thinking problems. Researchers will compare 180 people with severe hearing loss to those with normal hearing using memory and thinking tests. The goal is to understand if hearing loss affects brain function earlier than previously thought.
