Scientists test if hearing aids can cut through the chatter
NCT ID NCT06377215
Summary
This study aims to understand how age-related hearing loss affects a person's ability to separate speech from background noise. Researchers will test different hearing aid technologies on older adults with hearing loss to see which settings work best for understanding speech in noisy places like restaurants. The goal is to gather information that could help improve future hearing aid fittings.
