Summary
This study tests whether hearing aids can improve daily life for veterans who struggle to hear in noisy places despite having normal hearing on standard tests. About 142 veterans will be randomly assigned to receive hearing aids or not, and researchers will measure changes in hearing-related quality of life. The goal is to find out if this simple device-based approach actually helps and who benefits most.
