Summary

This study used a new type of full-body scanner to collect baseline images and blood samples from 20 healthy adults from racial and ethnic minority groups. The goal was to create reference data to help doctors better distinguish between normal scans and scans showing diseases like cancer in people of similar backgrounds. This foundational research aims to improve the accuracy of future medical imaging for diverse populations.
