First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a program called "Healthy Children, Healthy Communities" helps children ages 3 to 5 in rural family childcare homes eat more fruits and vegetables. About 120 childcare providers and 240 children will take part. Providers in the program group receive online training, coaching, and feedback on mealtime practices. The goal is to improve children's diet quality and prevent obesity in rural, low-income communities.
