Can regular health talks keep seniors independent longer?

NCT ID NCT07136168

Summary

This 6-year study tests whether structured health conversations help adults aged 67-84 maintain their quality of life and independence. Researchers will compare nearly 3,000 participants who receive these talks with similar groups who don't, tracking healthcare use, daily function, and well-being. The goal is to see if these preventive discussions can help people age healthier while being cost-effective for the healthcare system.
