Summary
This study will test a message campaign designed to correct false information about the FDA's proposed ban on menthol cigarettes and flavored cigars. Researchers will enroll 1,000 Black adults in Atlanta and Birmingham to see if the campaign improves knowledge about tobacco industry tactics and flavored tobacco policies. The goal is to promote health equity by countering disinformation that targets African American communities.
