First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Aug 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a plug made from a smoker's own blood (Advanced Platelet-Rich Fibrin) can improve gum healing after tooth extraction. Twelve smokers who need two teeth pulled will have one socket treated with the plug and the other left to heal naturally. The goal is to see if the plug reduces complications and speeds up healing.
