Light and oxygen: new hope for Moms' breastfeeding pain?

NCT ID NCT07370051

Summary

This study aims to see if applying topical oxygen or LED light therapy can help heal painful nipple cracks in new mothers. It will involve 51 breastfeeding mothers with nipple cracks, who will receive either oxygen therapy, light therapy, or standard care. Researchers will measure how well the cracks heal, how much pain decreases, and if breastfeeding improves.
