Researchers probe Brain's pain alarm in mystery headaches
NCT ID NCT07292181
Summary
This study aimed to understand if people with neck-related headaches have a more sensitive nervous system and nerve pain compared to healthy people. Researchers compared 72 adults, half with these specific headaches and half without, using questionnaires about pain, sleep, and mood. The goal was to gather knowledge about the headache's underlying causes, not to test a new treatment.
