Targeted nerve zap tested for stubborn Neck-Related headaches
NCT ID NCT06764433
Summary
This study tested a procedure called pulsed radiofrequency to treat headaches that start in the neck (cervicogenic headaches). It was for people whose headaches did not improve enough with standard medications or physical therapy. Doctors used ultrasound to guide the treatment, which targets a specific nerve at the base of the skull to try to reduce pain.
