Could fewer doctor visits be safer for cancer survivors?
NCT ID NCT05388136
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to monitor patients after successful head and neck cancer treatment. It compares the standard schedule of frequent scans and check-ups to a more personalized plan with fewer scheduled visits, focusing instead on tracking patient-reported symptoms. The goal is to see if the less intensive approach is just as effective at catching any cancer return while reducing the burden on patients.
