First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looked at 10 adults with chronic hepatitis C to find proteins attached to the virus particles. Researchers purified virus from blood samples and identified these proteins to learn how the virus infects cells and makes copies of itself. The goal was to discover new targets for future treatments, not to test a therapy.
