Peer support aims to boost hepatitis c treatment after prison

Summary

This study tests a program where trained peers help people recently released from jail or prison get connected to Hepatitis C care and stay in treatment. About 80 adults with chronic Hepatitis C who were incarcerated in the U.S. will take part. The goal is to see if this support helps them start and finish treatment successfully.
