Summary

This large, observational study aims to improve how doctors diagnose and predict risks for people with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), a heart muscle disease. It will follow 10,000 adult HCM patients for up to 3 years, using genetic tests, advanced heart scans, and blood markers to build better models for predicting serious events like sudden cardiac death and heart failure. The study does not test any new treatments but seeks to gather detailed information to guide future patient care.
