Oxygen tank treatment could boost Veterans' brain power and mood

Summary

This study tests whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) can improve thinking, memory, and mental health in veterans with traumatic brain injury, PTSD, or post-concussion syndrome. Researchers will measure changes in PTSD symptoms, depression, anxiety, and quality of life before and after treatment. The study aims to enroll 54 veterans and is currently recruiting.
