Scientists hunt for your Body's 'Food Receipt'
NCT ID NCT05616585
Summary
This study aimed to find objective chemical markers in the body that show what foods a person has eaten. 115 healthy adults ate specific foods like beef, chicken, yogurt, and oats in a tightly controlled setting. Researchers then took blood, urine, and stool samples to look for chemical changes, hoping to create better tools for measuring diet in future health studies.
