First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a yoga-based program called Harmony & Health, designed specifically for Black adults who sit a lot and don't get enough exercise. The program combines gentle movements, breathing exercises, and meditation to help reduce sitting time, increase physical activity, and improve overall wellbeing. About 251 participants in the Houston area will be randomly assigned to the program or a control group, and their progress will be tracked through questionnaires.
