Summary

This study tests whether adding umbilical cord blood to a half-matched stem cell transplant (from a family donor) can help people with aplastic anemia. The goal is to improve blood cell recovery and reduce serious side effects like graft failure and graft-versus-host disease. About 224 participants aged 14 and older will be enrolled at multiple centers.
