Can a Therapist's hands calm arthritic knees?
NCT ID NCT07166068
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific hands-on physical therapy technique can reduce pain and inflammation in people with knee osteoarthritis. Researchers will compare the real therapy to a fake version that looks similar but lacks the specific movements. Forty adults with moderate to severe knee pain will receive either the real or fake treatment twice a week for four weeks, along with standard exercise advice.
