Splint or stretch? new study tests best fix for common wrist pain
NCT ID NCT06995534
Summary
This study aims to find out which non-surgical treatment works better for a painful wrist condition called De Quervain's tenosynovitis. It will compare wearing a supportive wrist splint to doing a set of hand exercises at home. Forty adults with recent wrist pain will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments and followed for six weeks to see which provides better pain relief and improved hand function.
