First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether hand reflexology or a simple hand massage could help reduce pain, anxiety, and improve vital signs in 70 adults who had a coronary angiography (a heart procedure). Participants received one of the two massage techniques, and their pain and anxiety levels were measured. The goal was to see if these gentle touch therapies could offer comfort without medication.
