Summary
This study tested whether a specific hand massage technique could help pregnant women suffering from severe, persistent nausea and vomiting, known as hyperemesis gravidarum. Researchers worked with 70 hospitalized women to see if the massage reduced their symptoms and improved their daily quality of life. The technique involved placing small seeds on specific points on the hand for several hours.
