Study questions need for surgery in common hand fractures
NCT ID NCT07357493
Summary
This study aims to find out if simple movement therapy works as well as surgery for certain broken hand bones. It will enroll 552 adults with displaced spiral fractures in their fingers. Participants will be randomly assigned to either have surgery with screws/plates or to skip surgery and just start moving their hand right away, with both groups getting rehab. The main goal is to see which group has better grip strength one year later.
